Nursing Home Visit

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. [35] For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, [36] I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me" Matthew 25:34-36 NIV

Mercy Seat Chapel has over the years partnered with Interfaith Works to cater for the feeding of the residents at the Homeless shelter in Rockville once in a month, This visit usually includes a time of fellowship, sharing the word, praises and prayer. The residents are served after the session and it is always fulfilling to see them receive the meals with love and gratitude.

There is also a monthly visit to the Montgomery Nursing Home to share fellowship and give hope to the hopeless through the word of God and prayers. Special events are also planned for Easter and Christmas to give them an opportunity to feel the joy and warmth of the season. The Christmas program also include sharing of Christmas gifts.

The Church also attends to other homes on request and ensures that every contact both the residents and the staff are touched with the love of God.
