Mercy Seat Chapel Teen Ministry main purpose is to ground our young teenagers in the way of the Lord, mold new leaders and help bring out the talents that God has placed in them.
Teenagers nowadays are faced with many challenges and temptations that can easily sway them into the sinful ways of the world. The Teen Ministry focuses on practical day to day issues that teenagers encounter such as, peer pressure, obeying their parents, drugs, relationships, self-control, making the right decisions, self esteem in conjunction with providing Biblical principals on how to deal with these issues.
It is the leadership desire to provide dynamic ways in teaching the Word of God. They can range from open discussions, group work, skits, Bible teachings, role play and more. The Teen Ministry has different activities throughout the year to encourage unity and fellowship. Activities consist of, fundraising, trips (Six Flags, bowling, laser tag), outreach programs, food drives, movie nights and many more!!
We also have Sunday school every Sunday at 9:00 am to dig deep into the scripture and memorize verses that will impact and feed our spirit. The ministry is growing and is looking for more young vibrant teens to join us as we take a stand for our Lord Jesus Christ.
MERCY SEAT CHAPEL is a mission of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). We are bible-believing, multi-racial, loving and family oriented followers of Jesus Christ.
